We stayed here four nights. Front desk staff is always friendly, professional and helpful. The cleaning staff is very aware of guests — hold elevator doors for guests, always greeting guests, rooms and common areas all very clean. Kitchen staff takes get pride in their very healthy breakfast that includes everything you could possibly want for breakfast. Food is always ready, food-serving area is clean and well stocked, tables are clean. There is ample on-site parking. The location worked well for us — very near shopping and restaurants by car. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn Gainesville!

Front desk person I believe his name was Travon was very welcoming and friendly but I believe this hotel did not stand up to the Hampton Inn quality. Dirty smelly bedding. Pillows smelled like an old drunk man, sheets were dirty. See added photo. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Couldn’t sleep. Cleaning crew knocked on our door at 8am. And started vacuuming at 830am outside our door. Felt like we were being rushed out. Coffee pot was dirty and broken. Will not stay again not recommend this Hampton Inn to anyone.

Our Travel Softball team stays in a lot of hotels but we really enjoyed our Hampton Inn experience last weekend. Tiffany Versey and her team really were great to work with. They helped accommodate us checking in early and let us have a group meal in the lobby once we returned from our games. The rooms were great and the hotel was very clean. Thank you Hampton Inn and Tiffany!

The reception area was nice, the room was clean, the place was quiet, and the shower was great! Everything we have come to expect from a Hampton property. There are lots of dining options and a Publix available within a mile too. Thank you!

Cathy and her crew were great. Javon was great. Jason was helpful with the TVs. The staff all the way around was great. The place itself it was awesome, clean and the breakfast was amazing! Everyone in the hotel made our stay great.

My room smell like a dog kennel. I mentioned it to front desk and they gave me 20% off my room. Oh thank you! I don't sleep with my own dogs let alone a strangers pet. Hampton Inn you need to have dedicated pet rooms.

Sofa in room 101 was absolutely filthy, room was not ready until after 5:30pm, staff smoking funny-smelling stuff in parking lot on side of hotel away from cameras.
